The first 2 times the car won't start happened within like 2 weeks. But, it would turn over after 2nd or 3rd try.

It just died last night. I have enough juice in the batteries that the lights and radio come on. I have tried jumpstarting the car but it won't turn over. I hear a mild clicking noise but I wonder if the starter is gone bad.

If the starter has gone bad, how much can I expect the labor and parts to cost me?

I would really appreciate your input in this.

Thanks.

Yes it sounds like the starter, problem is they range wildly in price, that's the garages call, but it should, unless there are strange placement issues, be an hour labor, plus the part.

To tell for sure all you need to do is see if the trigger small wire on the starter solenoid is getting power when is the crank position. This guide can help.

I would go over this video as well.

Here is how to change the starter motor out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. Make sure you disconnect the battery first.
