Here, I copy/pasted what you just typed:
"No I didnt put all the header bolts in and the intake manifold the, the head is bolted down to spec but the exhaust header an intake mani arent all bolted "
"intake mani arent all bolted" means you left bolts out.

Yea from the headers not the actual cylinder head. The Head of the entire engine has 8 bolts tht need to be torqued and I did those. Will 2 bolts from the headers make it idle/rev like that?

It could. But you also said you didn't install and torque all of the intake bolts.

Replacing the belt is an involved process. IF you only need timing mark information, refer to the DIY section on our homepage. If you need detailed instructions from start to finish, I recommend getting a good repair manual. For me to try to explaine it via the Internet allows too much room for error.

Are you getting spark and fuel to the engine? Is the timing correct?

You say you replaced the timing belt, why? Was it due for replacement or did it fail? If it failed this is an interferance engine an you will have valve damage, have they done a comp test after fitting the belt if it failed?

If you have spark, fuel, compression, and the timing is correct, it has to run. Unless, like mhpautos suggested, you bent some valves when it slipped and you lost compression.

Have the compression tested to see if they are within specs.

Since there are sparks, check the fuel pressure and injector pulsing.

I made a mistake it actually doesn't have a spark. We replaced the distributor and the engine will rotate but it doesn't generate any spark.

Hello,

You should disconnect the battery and then raise the car up to do the job.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/jack-up-and-lift-your-car-safely

Then you will need to remove the harmonic balancer.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-a-harmonic-balancer-works

Here is a diagram for the rest (below)

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Lets get it together here earlier you said you got sparky-Do below

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.

Ensure you have battery voltage at the ignition coil. If the distributor is a used or reman unit, get another to test.

I have a 94 eclipse 90k miles, car kept on running hot so took it to the repair shop. They told me it was the water pump and they recommend I change the timing belt so I did. Car was running great for one month, I used it one day and parked it without a problem, next morning it would not start. Had it towed back to the shop and now they are telling me the car is getting no compression and the valves are bent and it will be another $1200.00 to fix. Can that happen overnight after having no problem with car the night before? Or are they covering for the mistake they made installing the timing belt a month prior, Thank you.

If its a 2.0L engine its an interference engine to happen overnite I don't think so-You will find out in a flash if there's a problem before you parked it. Get 2nd opinion
