Okay, so I just recently had my fuel injector replaced. And had checked my dipstick and have a rusty kind of milky oil now. I notice a small amount of white smoke out of the tail pipe that went away fairly quick. I checked the radiator and there is no sign of oil or transmission fluid in the coolant. Was wondering what would be the best route for this? Someone had suggested blue devil would appreciate any feedback thank you.

Good evening.

It sounds like you have a failed head gasket leaking coolant into the oil. It does not take much to contaminate the oil at all. You may not notice any coolant loss.

The coolant mixing with the oil concerns me. The coolant hitting the main and rod bearings destroys the babbitt material on the bearings. That is terminal for the life of the bearings.

You could add some coolant dye to the radiator and see if the oil turns green. Drain all the oil and filter and add new oil now. The longer you wait, the more damage you do to the bearings.

Never, never, a thousand times never use that blue devil stuff. There is no such thing as a head gasket sealer. They never work and all they do is compound the problem by clogging up the radiator and heater core.

The proper repair is to have the head gasket verified as the failure and then have them replace and the bearings checked for damage.
