Heater problem
1993 Mercury Villager Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles

I have a 93 Mercury Villager and had known buying it that it needed a new heater core. I have installed that, but I still have a leak. The car leaks whether it's running or not. My husband thinks it may be the hoses now or could be a cracked block. Does this sound acurate to you? If so, is changing a hose an easy/cheap job? Thanks!

There are 2 thermoplastic nipples that run through the fire wall that are replaceable. $200 ea if I remember right. And are located at the fire wall behind engine, a complete pain in the butt to get at. So I can believe a cracked hose just on the degree of difficulty top get at. If those plastic nipples are broken it will leak untill the pressure equalizes
