The car recently died in the road and is not getting fuel pressure. Could this be a fuel pump or something else?

Unplug the connector at the tank and test for power at the pink/black stripe wire. If it has power, replace pump, if no power, check the wire at the left front wheel, behind the inner fendr, they sometimes chafe in that spot..
