1984 Mercedes Benz 300sd Car locking system not working

I'm having trouble wiyh the locking system. I think it runs on a vacuum and it seems to be weaking. When I open the drivers door it doesn't unlock yhe other doors, or when I lock the driver dooor it doesn't lock the other doors, sometimes. How does this system work and where is it?

You are correct, it works on vacuum, the small hoses next to your master cylinder that go inside the cabin are the lines to your locking system, check them and make sure they are in good condition, also install a gauge. Make sure you are getting vacuum into the cabin.
