1990 Mazda RX7 Two Wheel Drive Manual 129xxx miles

I am currently looking topurchase a 90' rx7 that has a full exhaust system on it(new headers, downpipe, and full cat back exhaust). I called to get t md state inspected and told them about the exhaust system and they asked me if I took one of the cats off, meaning more than 1. There is 1 one it but they sounded like there was more than 1. Is there 2 cats on the car?
