Vechile runs but won't Move

I have a 1992 Mazda MPV. It started up, I drove it about 1/2 mile and then it would move. It was still running. What might be wrong?

I suggest you check the transmission fluid level 1st. If the fluid level is okay and there are no leaks, you've got major transmission problems.
