The timing belt broke and then someone tried starting it. It does not make any type of noise when it was turned over. People are saying valves probably hit pistons, are they being negative about me repairing it or is there a great percentage chance that it bent valves? Is it worth putting timing belt on to see?
Thanks

Lucky for you the MPV 3.0L engine is NOT a contact engine...you can turn it over as much as you want and it will not hit the valves against the pistons.
