i have a leak coming from the head gasket and dripping on the ground below the right front tire. I can smell the oil burning when I park it in the garage, but the oil level never gets low. The car also never overheats. Is the replacement of the head gasket the way to go and will it solve the problem?

Its a big job to do the head gasket , just because .

I would have it checked

have the system pressure checked as it may end up being something much simple then a head gasket
good luck
