Mazda 323, 1992, 142000miles: Right blinker system is not working. None of the lights work, including the dashboard light and you hear a faster than normal clicking sound. This would indicate a problem with the flasher, but in that case the hazard lights would still work normally. If I turn on the hazard lights the same thing happens: Left side works, right doesn't. What's wrong?

To start I would check all of the grounds and bulbs on that side of the car.Sounds like something is grounded/shorted out.Be sure the correct bulbs are in the sockets, could also be the bulb shorted internally.Have some new ones ready.Use a volt/ohm meter to test the bulb sockets to ground
