This system does not require any bleeding procedure that is different than any other engine which just requires the air to be worked out of it. So systems have bleeder valves but this just requires the system to be bleed. Here is a video that will help with this on a similar vehicle. Clearly this is a 6 cylinder but the process is the same.

However, I am concerned that it was ticking. That is a sign of a greater engine issue. Does it still tick when you start it after it cooled down?
If so, we may have damaged the engine, specifically the heads or valvetrain. Can you get a recording of this noise?
