Lost keys, replacement key not working?

I bought this key PT Auto Warehouse ILC-279L - Ignition Lock Cylinder with Keys (Replaces # 5S4Z-11582BB in Amazon and bought chip 4D 60 glass to insert into it. The key was programmed. The car couldn't start. I don't know where the problem lies. If I turn on the ignition, the hazard light continues blinking. I feel the PCM has not recognized the key or there is error in the programming. After the programming didn't work, I contacted another locksmith who said the Datalink port failed to recognize the scanner. The key need to be programmed through fibre. All these failed. The car hasn't started yet. I tried to contact another seller to get new key if the key is the problem, he requested for the key number and the chip number. Can you provide that? Do you think the key is the problem? When the key is turned on, the crankshaft rotates but the injectors are not functioning. What's the solution?

The security light is flashing when I try to crank the engine. If I want to get aother key together with the scanner, which should I go for. This is my VIN 1FAFP33P32W318992. Repair manual suggested strattec, rotunda and the likes. My mechanic said product doesn't matter and what is most important is the chip. Online merchant is requesting for key number and chip number. Why I want to order both together is to avoid further delay in shipping if the problem happens to be the key after diagnosing since item is shipping to Nigeria which will take average of three weeks. Try the scanner in a different car to confirm the scanner is working. Next check the fuse #10 in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. Here is the wiring diagram for the data connector so you can see how it works. I would check the connector ground as well.

Maybe because I have not registered the scanner. I am contacting the support team but there has been no positive response yet. I need to scan QR code before I register. I don't see I can scan QR code. I continue with the registration but i failed to submit.

The autel scanner was tried on another vehicle. It was communicating but it didn't read any codes. The menu displayed. What I have realized is, I might right or wrong but the most important thing right now is how to ensure that data link communicator DLC is communicating with the PCM. If that is not in place, I wonder how the previous mechanic was able to program the key he claimed he had programmed. From the software manual I have, it states that ' the ISO 9141 communication network will not function if the wire is shorted to the ground or battery voltage. Also, if one of the modules on the ISO 9141 communications network loses power or shorts internally, communication to that module will fail. I am suspicious of the starter relay K22 C1017 in the CJB. How do I test relays. Do you think it is internal short that has made the DLC not to communicate. If the DLC is communicating, then the key can be programmed and the car get running. When you try to crank the engine over does the security light flash?

There are no changes to it to the best of my observation. It just continues blinking (before and after turning on the ignition).

After the ignition on and off, the car chime. The car also has active security installed which the mechanic disconnected during the time the car was experiencing the battery draining.

At the last moment when this present key was programmed, the wipers were working. Presently, they are not working.

So, the car starts and runs? Does the security light not flash now?

Good day, thanks for all the assistance. I am expecting the arrival of the voltmeter next week. It is already in Nigeria. As noted in the software manual, can a failed or aborted PCM reprogram (maybe as the case of the key programming) be a possible cause of a blank PCM and be the reason the DLC is not communicating. If so, how can it be fixed? What are pinpoints checks to be carried out with the voltmeter to ensure the DLC is communicating or to solve the starting problem. I can see VREF and SGN RTN in the manual. Can they help resolve the issue at hand and how? Thank you very much for the contributions and God bless you.

Yes, if the PCM is no good it will not communicate. Let me know what you find once the voltmeter shows up.

Good day, I have not been able to communicate because of the issues that arise. The mechanic has indicated interest in purchasing the car, but I assured him after the car starts running and using it for a while. I disposed of it but maybe that didn't settle down with him. He has been frustrating every efforts. He came up with the idea that he misplaced the PCM. Authorities wade in the issue and gave him the opportunity to provide it. From what I read in the manual, for another PCM to work in the car. They have to transfer some modules from the old PCM into the PCM or call ford Center to get those information. If I am to seek a second technical and professional opinion from you. In the case he returned my old PCM, how do I know or test it that this is mine or does it go by the manual that they need to transfer some modules or call ford Center for a new PCM to be installed that can work with my car. You can get the PCM tested or get a preprogrammed unit as well by searching Google or Ebay.
