Ford products, so I assume Lincoln are pretty much identical, have a fuse and a relay under the hood in a power distribution box. Look for a plastic box under the hood. There will most likely be a fuse and a blower relay.
The dash board controls use a relay under the dash. The actual power circuit for the fan comes from the box under the hood. The fuse/relay designations are often imprinted on the inside lid of the box. Or check your owners manual for the fuse and relay.
I have had to change 2 relays in the box on my Ford.
Good luck
