There is a (green) colored 14Ga wire connected to positive side of the battery that looks like a factory wire coming up from the front side of the engine. Do you know if this wire goes to the fuel pump or what? Thanks, Heather

Fuel pump should not be wired directly to the battery
Its wired to a relay that is controlled by the computer and energize when 1st key on

and when engine running

if have problem with the pump check inertia switch in the trunk
