I bought recently a used Lincoln Continental 2 weeks ago, it has the 32v InTech V8 engine. A few days earlier the car suspension started to go down while driving and the computer engine displays the message "Check Ride Control" I try to upper the suspension from the message center and it works (at the moment). The day before yesterday when I started my car, as usual, the suspension goes up and start to drive. Suddenly the car starts to go down again and I tried the same solution before but doesn't work. Then Ii heard a noise (I think from the compressor) like an electrical motor starting to fail and since that day (I still think) the compressor that makes the suspension go up in the car doesn't work anymore and the "Service Engine Soon" lights every time I start the car. The car is soooo low that I can't at least get out from my house to the mechanic. Mi cuestion is:
Is like a fuse or an electrical problem what fails? Or
The air compressor is broken?
Thank you and have a pleasant day
