The vehicle overheated on me the other day because there was no water in the radiator, and started to make light white smoke from the exhaust whenever the car stopped. I also didn't drive for more than a minute when the car overheated. This only happens when the car is warmed up, I also got a misfire in cylinder 3, I changed the coil of cylinder 3 and changed all spark plugs, checked the cylinders ratio, they all run on the same frequency when accelerating, I added about 3 small bottles of fuel injectors, and I also checked the coolant reservoir and radiator, and they look good to me, no mixture of oil and water, and no leaks.

The white smoke can be a blown head gasket (they don't always mix with the engine oil) if you have an injector that is sticking open. I would remove the spark plug to check the color, if it is clean, you may have a blown head gasket and if it is dark or black, I would replace the fuel injector.

This guide can help, and I have included how to change the fuel injector out:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
