Left front CV shaft assembly

Took CV shaft off left front to replace and found that the spline that enters transmission is larger than the old. hy-8114 is supposed to be a direct fit replacement. any answers to why this would be or is it the wrong part for the front.

Yes if the splines are a different size you have the wrong replacement axle.

Yea now trying to figure out which CV shaft assembly I need since apparently the transmission differs from what was in this car in the first place found tranny part number but guess I'll be heading to the dealership to see if they can assist in finding the replacement part or least part number for CV shaft assembly

Yea I got part number h8114 for the awd but apparently for this model awd you need the h8113 Wich is a 27 spline not a 28 but thanks for your help much appreciated
