Does it seem to run good except for the light? When you first installed it did it have all the emissions parts that you have eliminated, and it still did this or did you eliminate that when it went in? Still has the original converter design?

Running rough is the issue anytime there is an engine miss you will get a lean code. I would start with a compression test to see if the engine is okay.

So we do not chase our tail.

It was the EGR valve. It runs good now. Thanks for the help.

Glad to hear you found it. I think I mentioned the EGR somewhere along the line. Did pulling the vacuum line off change it or did you remove it and find it was damaged? Either way.
