I replaced the radiator filled with coolant. Coolant leaking from under car before radiator filled. Looked under car to locate leak looks like it was coming from the back of engine driver side.

Hi,

It could be a few things. There heater hoses back there, a head gasket could be leaking, a freeze plug and so on. However, chances are it is a hose. First, here are a couple links to help. First is how to locate and repair a leak. The second link deals with how to pressure test the system. You will need a pressure tester, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

By pressure testing, you will most likely see where it is coming from or even hear an air leak. You will need to get a mechanics mirror to look behind the engine. Once you determine where it appears to be coming from, let me know and I'll direct you on a repair procedure.

I will watch for your reply.

Take care,
Joe

What was the reason for radiator replacement and was anything else replaced other than the radiator? Hoses or? Were there any leaks before the swap?
As Joe said you will want to look around the engine itself for the leak. The leak location under the car could be hitting a part of the engine or frame and running out in a different spot than it is truly leaking from.
