2001 Kia Sephia 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual? Miles

have an issue with car not starting at all.

it stalled going around a corner (not sure if that had anything to do with it) and will not start at all now.

tried jumping it but that didn't help, engine will turn over but doesn't fire. The engine will just turn over and thats it.

I checked all fuses and relays related to fuel pump/intake and whatever else I could think of and all are fine.

I put a bottle of iso heat in the tank incase there was water in the line but no change in sound or result.

tried push starting it to see if it was the starter but nothing there either

there is a buzzing noise coming from throttle body whenever you turn the ignition on. I'm thinking it might possibly be that, but what causes it? Fuel pump not getting fuel to where it needs to go? TPS (throttle position sensor), but would that make it stall out and not re-start?

not sure where to start and don't want to start throwing money into it for parts that were fine in the first place.

please help

First you need to have the computer scanned for codes. If the car cut off while driving, there should be a code stored. AutoZone will do this for free.

Next, check spark while cranking. You do this with a spark checker. (A couple of bucks) If spark is weak or non existent, check the wires and coils.

Next, check fuel pressure (Key on/engine off, and while cranking) If pressure is low, check pump. If good, check the injectors firing with an automotive stethoscope. (Couple of bucks)

If spark and fuel check out, check for compression of the cylinders. This is a more involved process and a compression checker cost more.

Finally, if all systems check out, you're looking at a failed sensor and/or computer.
