shaking in steering wheel

I have a 2002 Kia Rio and just had the tire rotated and balanced because I noticed a slight shaking/shimmy to the steering wheel. The work mentioned didn't help with the problem has about 46,000 mile what wrong with it?

Check your tires for any sing of a broken belt,warpage or choppyness.
you might also have mechanical problems such as warped rotors or your wheel bearings might be going.
have you car cheched by someone who knows the vehicle an d product well if you can't see something yourself instead of wasting alot of time and money elsewhere(go to competent dealer).
