I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler 4 cyl, standard with 80,000 miles on it. The vehicle has a dead short to ground which is I believe is taking my alternator out. After looking, it's not in any of the fused cuircuts. I checked all the grounds, they look good also. The second alternator is putting out 18.5-19 volts. All the gauges on the dash also drop as I rev up the engine and return to normal when idling. Any ideas?
