Have not had any problems but was on a washboard road saturday, next time tried to start jeep turned key on lights came on as usual, then turned over to start and jeep went dead. The tackometer and speedometer dials started jumping, with key off, have tried to charge battery and it reads full, turn key over and it doesn't really make a clicking sound but a buzz type sound kinda like a sylenoid, hard to describe, but the park lights come on but the head lights don't, the sounds seems to be coming from the fuse case under the hood. Have tried cleaning battery, still does the same, when the dome light works the meters aren't jumping, the radio lights don't come on for a while then they do, any one know whats going on?

Keep in mind this is most likely the OEM battery. Its 5 years old already. When a cell goes bad, it usually doesnt give any warning. I recommend throwing a new battery in just for the simple fact its due for replacement, and see if it starts. If not, then its starter related. We have to start somewhere, so the battery makes the most since. Keep us posted.
