2004 Jeep Wrangler key won't turn

We have an 04 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. My husband drove it to the store, parked and went inside. When he came back out, the key would not turn in the ignition. We tried pressing and pulling the button behind the ignition, turning the steering wheel and the key will just not turn. What's going on?

Try spraying some WD 40 or equivalent light oil into the lock cylinder and work it in good with the key. You can read more about this popular issue at our Car Repair Troubleshooting page, linked below..
