I drove my car and shut it off, when I went to get back into the car and turn it on, the engine would turn over but the car would not start. (All the lights/radio worked) We did attempt to jump the car and upon trying to start it, it did the same thing, the engine turned over but it did not fully start the car. We towed the car to a friends garage and he said he thought it was the fuel pump. He replaced the fuel pump and now when he tried to start it there is no sound what so ever when the key is turned. No lights/radio either. The vehicle is ten years old with 180,000 miles on it and has never given me any problems. I am not sure if it is just time to get a new one or not. Any idea what the problem could be?

I am sure he disconnected the battery when he did the work. Make sure the connections at the battery are correct, clean, and tight. Also, make sure the battery is not drained. All you need is a voltmeter to check if it has any power. Here are directions:

If everything is totally drained, something tells me there is a lose connection at the battery or ground to the vehicle. One last thought, make sure the main fuse in the power distribution box under the hood is good.

He checked all the fuses and when you turn the key all the lights come on. The car is not cranking now at all. Any thoughts?

You need to check if there is power to the solenoid. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power at the smaller wire on the starter. In the start position, there should be 12v at that wire. If there isn't under the hood in the power distribution box is a starter relay. Check to see if there is power there.
