I flushed my transmission fluid a couple months ago using regular dexIII. A week later the mil light started coming on showing trans. Codes. All types of sensor codes, shift, trans cntrl syst mal, trans range sens malf. I thought maybe I should have used mopar fluid but I was told the fluid would not set off all these sensor codes. Also I was told that I should have the pcm flashed but I have not done that yet. Has anyone experianced this before?

What did you flush it with? Was there a filter in there and did you properly get it replaced?

Flushed it with one of those flush machines. Did not take the pan down and change the filter though. Do you think the filter could have come apart during the flush?

The worry I have is that the filter could have disintegrated (sp) or come apart, etc. The flushing is not an activity I would recommend. The dropping of the pan, replacing the filter, cleaning things you see and putting in a gasket with the cover is the correct route.
