2000 Jeep Grand Cheeroke AC Trouble

The ac does not cool at all. The pressure in the system rises to ~45psi and then drops to ~15psi as the compressor turns on and off. I can visually see the compressor engaging with the belt during this period and turning off when it reaches 15psi. I recently had to replace the water pump too if that is of any difference. They are relatively close togeher in location.

You are low on refrigerant--Charge the system and insure they put in a can of dye to find the leak.

In my prior question, I had a similar problem- I have plenty of charge, but the " popoff" valve on the side of the compressor constantly opens and discharges the coolant whenever the compressor is on. Is the charge too high or is the " popoff" valve defective?
