My 2000 jeep grand cherokee just had the transmission rebuilt. My oil pressure gauge was not reading anything.
looked at engine and they broke the oil pressure switch.
when I was replacing it the wrench fell and hit the wire that feeds power to the starter and it sparked for about a second.

i finished installing the oil pressure switch, went to start the car and it only cranks wont start at all.
all the fuses checked out fine.
i disconneted the battery for a few minutes and nothing.

help!
thanks

It sounds like you shorted out a fusible link try checking each and one of them.

Check fusible links
and fuses again
check relays
and also check the wires at the back of the alternator
make sure the wires at the battery all in good shape
