Cooling Fan problem

I have a 99 jeep Cherokee Sport. About 135k miles. When I shut the engine off the engine cooling fan continues to run and will run until it completely drains the battery. What might this problem be and how can it be solved.

Check the relay under the hood

also if relay ok then the relay module
it sits under the head light pass side
if thats the case let me know and will help u get to it
