Brake lites

I have a 2002 grand cherokee. All lights work fine except my brake lights. I do not have any brake lights when the head lites are on or off. Tail lites are fine hazards are fine. Clean all contacts, fuse is good, changed all bulbs. Made sure bulbs are same type.
Still no luck. HELP

Check the stop light switch on the brake peal arm. Find the switch. Push it straight forward, then pull up on brake pedal, if lights work you are go to go. If not replace the switch.
