I have replaced the radiator, radiator hose, thermostat, temperature guage, water pump. After the engine runs for 10 min. And is idle, the temperature begins to rise. My electrical fan does not turn on unless I turn the AC on. What is the cause for the overheating?

See my profile.I am a CJ feller.(I do not know your rig) have had similar problems with family/ friend owned rigs.

On several occasions it was the "Coolant Temperature Switch" Not allowing the fan to turn on.

Check your fuses too--insure you look at all locations they might be found in your rig (see owners manual for locations and fuse descriptions)

Another way to look for possibilities is look on down the CHEROKEE FORUM for others with same or similar problem---Thus you might get MORE diagnoses from other Posts and from different people.I sometimes do this myself when working on Family and Friends' Vehicles I am having issues with (CJs are my strongpoint).

I hope I have steered you in the right direction
