1996 Jeep Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive 190600 miles

My vehicle keeps cutting off sometimes while I'm driving but mainly when I stop but it starts right back up. What could that be?

Has the check engine light come on? Has it ever not restarted for you? Have you ever checked fuel pump pressure? Vacuum leaks? When was the last tune up with a fuel filter?

Yes the check engine light has been on but then it goes off at times. I had it check a while ago and was told it was on because of a sensor. Haven't checked fuel pump pressure or vacuum leaks. Had a tune up about 6 months ago but not with a filter.
