Still, sometimes when I start my car, the ignition causes the Security light, horn, and lights to go on for about 15-20 minutes.

If I tryb to start the car - it suddenly dies.

If i leave the car alone, hours later, the car starts right back up with out problems.

Jeep used to have a car alarm - but I had it completely removed as I thought this was the main reason.

Please help! Ideas? - Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Thank you for the donation.

Problem seems ot be caused by a faulty ignition switch. When the ignition switch is faulty, it could cause the security system to be triggered and it could work well at times but intermittently fails.

When problem occurs, check if the dash indicator lights are showing.
Test if the wiper is working.
