1988 jaguar xj6 trouble code help

1988 jaguar xj6 71,000 miles 3.6L

i had to replace the washer reservior and trunk latch. how do i clear the trouble codes so it does not show them any more.

Normally after a few engine cycles the code will clear itself. You can disconnect the battery for a min. or two or connect a scan tool and erase them with that. A lot of auto parts stores will "lend" you a scan tool for this purpose.
