Hi there,

it should be low on the L/H /s or the engine. That is where they are on models in Aus.

There is no dipstick on the 97. The automatic transmission fluid has to be checked by removing a recessed bolt in the pan. Yes, under the vehicle. Pain in the backside. I went and purchased a chilton's to find the thing years ago when I bought my 97 rodeo.
