Engine head swap

will a 2000 4.6L head work on a 2004 4.6L?

The stock heads off of each engine will most likely bolt up but are not the same. The part number is different so that means Ford has made changes. Unfortunately, I would not attempt to use this as I am not sure what is different. In my opinion it would be too much of a risk to spend the money on this other head just to find out what is actually different.
