The body was fixed and now the car won't start. why?

Exactly what does it do when you try to start it? Based on what you posted I'm thinking that there is a harness that was knocked loose or more likely cut that is now causing a problem. Very common for them to be damaged but missed during the repair if they are not in the immediate damage area. Testing can usually find it, but I would say to take it to the shop that repaired it first, it should have been repaired then and they will have an idea of where the damage might be.
