2003 Hyundai Elantra 2003 Elantra overheating

My '03 Elantra is overheating, no visible leaks. My son tends to think it is the thermostat. Any advice on how to confirm this without the $ for a mechanic's diagnosis? Just laid-off.

I just fixed my elantra overheating problem. The problem is the thermostate. But you should use an OEM thermostate (about cad$l8 I tried others that did not work at tall.
