I bought the car listed above with all four doors needed to be replaced due to dents/broken handles ect.
I tried looking but all I’m finding is information on how to replace the panel but I’d like to remove the whole door and put on a new one!

Hello,

Replacing the complete door actually is fairly straight forward.
You will need a helper to complete this task.
To take the door off all you will have to do is to remove the wire harness that goes from the door to the vehicle.
Then you want to disconnect the door check.
Then by removing the door hinges. On this vehicle there are 2 hinges, held by 4 bolts on each.
After removing the bolts, the door will simply come off.
You want to have someone hold the door as the hinge bolts loosen. This will prevent the door from falling off.

To install just reverse the steps.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Hi,

I went through my manuals are there aren't specific directions for door removal, but I'll try my best to help.

First, the doors are held on the body of the vehicle by hinges. There are two bolts on the hinge to the body, and two on the hinge to the door. Additionally, there is a door check that is what holds the door in the open position.

To remove any of the doors, you need to first determine if the replacement doors already have hinges on them or not. If they do, remove the hinge to body bolts. If they don't, remove the hinge to door bolts. Also, the door check has a screw/bolt holding it to the body that needs to be removed. If you are getting used doors, the check will likely still be attached.

Install is the reverse of removal. I will recommend having a helper hold the door when you remove or replace them. They are somewhat heavy and will fall off once the bolts are removed.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
