There should be two wires going to the window motor. Both can be used as either a ground or a power supply. When you supply power to one of the two wires and ground to the other, power flows through the motor causing it to turn in one direction. When you switch the polarity of the power, in other words put power to the opposite wire and ground to the opposite, the motor spins in the opposite direction. If you take a battery charger and apply power to one of the two wires and ground to the other, the motor will run, but in which direction I don't know. You will have to determine which wire needs power to turn the motor in the direction to lower the window.
I hope that makes sense. It's easy to do, but writing it makes it sound difficult. LOL
