Am due to have my Clutch replaced and have been told that they have to remove the engine. Does this have to be done? Am a little unsure about this.
Also on average how long would this take?

They do NOT need to remove the engine. They will however need to support the engine and slightly lift it. They need to remove one of the motor mounts to replace the clutch. The one they remove is located on the tranny. They should not remove the engine.
