1992 Honda Prelude Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hi there I was just wondering if u could help me, my car sometimes will not start, after a few tries or waiting a bit then it does. I think it could be to do with the starter motor or the battery but am not sure. Please help

Check the small wire at the starter make sure its making connection
when its not starting try to tap on the starter and if it does start then the starter no good and you have to replace it
you can start by making sure the battery is good and terminal clean and tight
