this may be a silly question, but...

i just recently blew up my engine (oil leak) and i'm getting a new engine installed some time this week. i was told that the new factory engine has 30,000 miles on it to start. does that mean i will get my car back with the mileage reset to 30,000, or will it still have the original mileage that's on my car now?

another possible silly question i have is....

being that i blew a hole in the car's original engine, will my car be considered "salvaged" since i'm replacing the entire engine?

You are going to have to do the calculations yourself to remember the mileage that the engine had on and what the body has on it. They will not reset the mileage on the vehicle.

To answer the last question, NO the title should not be considered "salvaged".
