1990 Honda Alternator Problem?

Two weeks ago I had my alternator replaced. Yesterday while driving I noticed that my speedometer dropped and then returned to its original place and then the charge light flickered and then went out. This happened twice within an approx. 3 block area. I made it home and turned the off. Later I tried to start it and it gave a short impression that it was trying to and then click click - nothing. The same thing happened this morning. What kind of possible repairs am I looking at?

Check connections and main relay. Also, check to make sure that when they hooked up the new alternator that all of the grounds are still securely attached. The grounds are very important.
