Hi I have a problem with my 91 Crx where it does not start and did not get spark from the plug. I read the previous similar problem for the 91 crx but my engine did not get wet. Seems that there are no gas coming out but I just install a brand new fuel pump along with new ignition coil freshly spark plug and wire and new distributor cap and rotor. Any help will be appreciated

Hi Dukkay,

Check if there is power supply to distributor Black/Yellow wire during ignition swith ON and while cranking.

If power is present and no sparkd from the ignition coil, either the ICM is faulty or the timing belt is snapped.

If your not getting spark to the pluggs or from the dizzy you might have a bad distributor. Ebay has a hell of a deal on brand new ones around 120$ with free s/h

Ive bought two crx's off people who couldnt figure the problem out and it was just the distributor.

Check the condections and check to see if your getting fuel.

Put the car to the on position and see if you can hear the fuel pump wind up.

Check all your fuses and relays for any blown ones or faulty ones.

If your getting gas, buy the dizzy and pop it on.

Like I said, both times it was a distributor and it ran perfect after, if you pull the oil cap off after turning the key on and off and pumping the gas you should smell gass inside the valve cover.

You can use a fuel pressure regulator to check also.

Good luck
