Passenger side wiper blade was seized in ice build-up; not allowed to return to rest position for a day before I chiseled the ice away from the wiper arm. Now Driver side blade functions, while passenger side will not without manual assistance and then it only returns to rest position and does not continue to function without assistance. Could there still be ice in the bushing preventing it from moving. All visible ice from around the outside of the arm has been removed. Temperatures remain in the low 20's. It was functioning, though not returning to rest position until a brief stop at the store and then no longer worked.

Hi Timber714,

I believe the wiper links have been damaged causing the symptoms described.

Lift up both wiper arms and manually twist one at a time to check for excessive travel. If any fould, the wiper links are bad.
