I HAVE A 96 CIVIC WITH 245,000 MILES, IT HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION.I JUST HAD A NEW CLUTCH INSTALLED 3 MONTHS AGO. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL THIS MORNING I COULD NOT SELECT ANY GEARS AND THERE IS NO PRESSURE IN MY CLUTCH PEDAL. ALSO THE ONLY GEAR I CAN GET IS REVERSE AND IT MAKES THIS LOUD GRINDING NOISE.PLEASE HELP!!DO I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER CLUTCH JOB?[/b]

Check the clutch fluid in the resevoir. It will be the smaller of the two and see if it is low. Chances are either the master or slave unit has gone out. Look around the master where the resevoir is and see if you see any leaks. Check the slave which is on the outside of the tranny housing. Follow the lines from the master and see if any fluid is present from a line leak as well.
