1996 Honda Civic Hatchback, Miles: 113,000. I dont know much about clutches or master clutches. But I know I went out to my car and started it up then I went to push in the clutch and it went all the way to the floor and didnt come back up and I couldnt get it into gear. But after I sat there and pumped the clutch for awhile it eventually came back. I have to keep doing this after my car sits for like 4 our 5 hours. I was just wanting to know if it was my clutch messin up or maybe there was a leak or air in a hose or something needs bleeded?

Hi there,

You will have to bleed the clutch, but thats not the main problem, you will have to check the master cylinder (on the fire wall) and the slave cylinder (on the gear box) for leaks and replace which of either or both that are leaking first.
