I've had my 1999 Honda Civic EX sine new and after changing the oil about 200 miles ago I noticed oil in m driveway. I rechecked the filter and oil pan bolt and all looked tight and dry. After looking around for a while I noticed that there was a drop of engine oil coming out from under the distributor. I checked the distributor bolts and they were tight. I looked on line and noticed there is a seal that can be replaced and an 'O' ring. My question is how easy is it to remove the distributor and change the gasket and 'O' ring? Do I need any special tools and will I have to re-do the timing when I place the distributor back in place? Thanking you in advance for your help and assistance. Any tips would be appreciated.

Its not hard to do. The key is to mark the position of rotor and distributor housing very clearly before taking it apart and when your done make sure it is in the exact same spot
